Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips With Health Toffee

2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup (2stickls)butter,soft
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup of Health Toffee Bits


  1. Preheat oven to 375o F

  2. Stir flour with baking soda and salt;Set aside

  3. Beat butter with sugarand brown sugar at Medium speed until creamy.

  4. Add vanill and eggs one at a time,mixing on low speed until incorporated

  5. Gradully bend dry mixture into creamed mixture.

  6. Stir in chocolate chips and Health Toffe BitsDrop by tablespoon on a cooke sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.(For softer cookies go with the 9 minutes for crisper cookies bake at 11)
My oven gets really hot so I always bake 50 degrees less than what the recipe suggests.My kids didn't let these cookies sit too long! The land o lakes butter made the difference.  I am linking up with the following:

I LOVE toffee and have attempted to bake cookies with them twice! For some reason mine always turn out chewy, as if the toffee burns or something! I'll have to try this recipe for sure. thanks for sharing!

My fondest memoreis in my life are the ones at my grandmother's table.I loved not only the warm,velvety ,slightly sweet 7-up cake, but the affirmation that I was loved. I am sure my family and anyone I've been friendly with for more than 2 minutes will breathe a collective sigh of relief, since I don't have to dump my food conversations on them all the time.
