Gutter girlz prompt for 9/30/10

I was really inspired to do this  for those of you not familar with
these challenges there are 3 parts the first part is the prompt:I am
the second part is usually a song it's supposed to be Fighter by
Christiana Aguilar (I l Know I misspelled this I will come back and edit it) and
the 3rd part is usually a technique they suggested  fabric but as you can clearly see I took it
and made it my own.  Which is why I love these challenges they dont trip if it's not a scrapbook page
exactly or if you tweak it.  Plus I needed to pick myself back up so there isn't another useful purpose.
I have also decided not to let anyone's attitude or snarky little comments determine how the rest of my
day goes !  I have been guilty of that  alot in the past but I can decide today how my day or heck
my life should go.  Wow I wanna a cookie!  Sorry folks it's hard to stay focused on an empty stomach!
Until next time stay gold!

Creative Thearpy:Catalyst 120

This is the creative catalyst for Creative Thearpy. The week was hosted by Kelley Purkey I really appreciated her honesty, really cute scrapbook page. I decided to make mine into an art journal page. What a shock huh?. I also wanted a chance to use this SEI PAPER(Mimosa), Letter Stickers Basic Grey. The Catalyst is "What are you waiting for?" A little extra money to take some digital photography classes. I took photoshop last fall. I am looking forward to doing that again. But I am planning to move so I have to save some money to cover those expenses.Anyway it got me to think about buying some books on composition atleast and go online .
So what are you waiting for in life? What reasons or excuses have you made for not doing it? What can you do right now to make it happen?

Shimelle class:What i learned layout

Here is my layout from the "learn something new class by Shimelle. Since my handwriting is'nt the greatest I will type it
to make it easier to read. It says"I've learned to listen to my intuition ,not everyone will agree with my decisions and that's o.k.
as long as I agree with my decisions! If you have to ask ,it isn't what you think it is,and nothing in this life will make you sadder than
holding on to unrealistic expectations."

Random Note:I am not this label!

My sweet papoose! I was at my baby's school today filling out paperwork. My child has a mild form of
Autism.  Sometimes I feel like people dont see anything but that label when they see her.  She is so much
more than that.  She has her own way of loving you and dealing with things.  God didn't make her any less
special than anyone else .  It's a huge understatement to say may life has changed dramatically.Yes the bar has been raised, in my parenting skills, and challenging as that is sometimes ,I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love you baby, stay gold!

About This blog

My fondest memoreis in my life are the ones at my grandmother's table.I loved not only the warm, velvety ,slightly sweet 7-up cake, but the affirmation that I was loved. What started out as a creative outlet and a place to honor her loving, generous spirit has evolved into a food blog where I can blather on about recipes, food trends, and basically any food related topic that foodies would like, get the idea. I am sure my family and anyone I've been friendly with for more than 2 minutes will breathe a collective sigh of relief, since I don't have to dump my food conversations on them all the time. Also to mix things up I will share scrapbook pages. I want the blog to refect who I am and what I like to do when apart from being a full time Mama and part time college student.Thank you for sharing this journey of exploration with me.
