Random note: Canon vs Sony Cybershot

No this is not a flimsy excuse to look at my pedicure again!I took this shot(the one on the bottom) with the Canon(it has 6 Mp but has a lens that has 12 times the image stabilization  and  6.0-72.0mm) compared to  Sony cyber shot, has 7.2 mp but not an outstanding lens ( see the shot on the top)which is almost not a far comparison but these cameras are both in  the point and shoot family and once I compared these two shots I felt like I had made the right decision to buy this camera!  If you go to they have a top twenty list of the best point and shot cameras based on what the the readers themselves bought as well as tips, tutorials ,information on cameras etc... .  I picked this Canon from the top twenty list and waited for the best used price on amazon.  So what is your favorite brand of camera?  Do you use point and shot or Dslr?  One other thing I picked this camera because it will let me shot Manually and in Auto mode so this will be a nice transitio…

Art Journal page and the the singer who inspired it

"Spend most your life
pretending not be
the one you are but who
you choose to see
Learned to survive in your fictious world
Does what they think of you
Determine your worth
If specials what you feel
when you're with them
Taken away you feel less than again" You by Janet Jackson

I play this song it's from The Velvet Rope one of my favorite albums by Janet Jackson
because I felt like she hit her stride artistically speaking
Actually it's kinda ironic that later in her career she was going to have to
experience being reviled by the media and some in the public
about that Superbowl incident. But the thing I admire the most
and encourages me to keep trying and take the chance of falling on my face
is because Janet never just quit doing what she does not even after the death of her beloved brother Michael. It takes a certain amount
of tenacity to do that . So inpires you to keep doing your scrapbook/art journal pages? If you could spend the afternoon
with someone you admire wh…

I have always prefered  Canon  I dont see myself shooting too much from that except with the Sony

REvised Layout: When is it ok enough?

I did this layout recently to see if I could make it in a small amount of time(a personal challenge so to speak)
I became dissatisfied with it and added the journaling and the "love You" So that's my question when is a layout good enough?
Have I lost sight of why I scrapbook in the first place? For me it's primarily self expression followed by an intense need to tell
these stories so my kids wont forget what it was like or learn more about relatives who have passed on and aren't here to share
their stories. So why do you scrapbook? How do you not lose sight of your original intentions?
